These easy soft, caramelised honey glazed carrots make a delicious sweet side alongside many main dishes such as our Moroccan Lamb recipe.
Ingredients
- 450g Carrots, peeled and chopped into 1.5 inch batons
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp Butter, melted
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220C.
- In a bowl, toss the Carrots with Honey, Garlic, Butter, Oil, Cayenne Pepper, Salt and Black Pepper.
- Add the Carrots to an oven tray and spread them out.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Storage
Place leftovers in an airtight container and store for up to 3 days in the fridge.
Variations
Add 1/4 tsp Cinnamon and ground Ginger to the Carrots.
