Pizza buns are a delightful twist on traditional pizza, combining the flavours of pizza with the convenience and portability of a bun. They make for a tasty snack or appetiser, are perfect for parties or a quick bite on the go. Plus, they're endlessly customisable, so you can tailor them to your taste preferences.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 50g Tomato Passata
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Salt and Pepper
- 400g Ready Pizza Dough
- 100g Chicken, cooked and chopped into cubes
- 55g Cheese
Instructions
Add Olive Oil, Tomato Passata, Garlic, Cayenne Pepper and Salt and Pepper to a pot over medium heat.
Cook for 4-5 minutes and leave to cool.
Roll Dough out on a floured surface into a rectangular shape.
Spread over Tomato.
Add Chicken and Cheese on top.
Cut into 6 strips.
Roll each strip into a tight roll.
Place in a 20 cm round tin lined with baking paper.
Bake at 220c/gm 9 for 25 - 30 minutes.
Variations
Add Vegetables like Black Olives, Mushrooms, Corn and Peppers.
Add other Spices such as Cumin.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a green side Salad.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
