Turmeric Milk Talbina Recipe

Turmeric Milk or Golden Milk Talbina is a warm, nutritious, and comforting breakfast that combines the benefits of turmeric with the hearty goodness of Talbina. Perfect for warming up on cool mornings!

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground Turmeric
  • Pinch Black Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Talbina
  • 1 tbsp Honey, to serve

Instructions

  1. Heat Milk on the stove and then stir in Ground Ginger, Ground Cardamom and Ground Cinnamon, Ground Turmeric and Black Pepper. Let it come to a gentle simmer.
  2. Stir in Talbina Powder and whisk till it thickens. About 5 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Serve with a drizzle of Honey.

Variations

Add Ground Cloves and Nutmeg.
