Turmeric Milk or Golden Milk Talbina is a warm, nutritious, and comforting breakfast that combines the benefits of turmeric with the hearty goodness of Talbina. Perfect for warming up on cool mornings!
Ingredients (serves 1)
- 250 ml Milk
- 1/4 tsp ground Ginger
- 1/8 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground Turmeric
- Pinch Black Pepper
- 4 tbsp Talbina
- 1 tbsp Honey, to serve
Instructions
- Heat Milk on the stove and then stir in Ground Ginger, Ground Cardamom and Ground Cinnamon, Ground Turmeric and Black Pepper. Let it come to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Talbina Powder and whisk till it thickens. About 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Serve with a drizzle of Honey.
Variations
Add Ground Cloves and Nutmeg.
